Position Summary
The Quality Inspector I is responsible for performing basic inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer specifications. - Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and properly maintained before use.
- Assist with the identification of non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions under supervision.
- Work with production teams to identify potential areas for improvement and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in routine training to develop knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques.

Credentials/Experience
Qualification Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong math skills to work with fractions and decimals in the imperial and metric measurement systems
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus, but not required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
- Good communication skills to document and report inspection results.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Average skill in Microsoft Office, entering data accurately and repeatably.
