Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a qualified quality, regulatory, and risk management leader to oversee QA and patient safety across multiple facilities in the Las Vegas area. This role focuses on coordinating activities, improving quality metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requires nursing-related degree, QA/PI and management experience, plus clinical hospital background including acute care. Exempt, full-time position based at West Henderson Hospital within the VHS network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Two years QA or PI experience and a minimum of two years progressive management experience.
• Two years of clinical hospital experience, including at least one year in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for multi-site/facility coordination and oversight of quality, regulatory, and risk management functions, processes and programs.
• Facilitate activities to improve quality metrics, processes and outcomes.
• Oversee the grievance program and ensure ongoing operation of patient safety and risk management activities across multiple facilities/sites.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements in quality and patient safety.
