Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas is seeking a Manager of Risk Management to support the Director of Risk Management in leading the hospitals Patient Safety-Risk Management Program.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of clinical or risk management experience; CP HRM certification is preferred. Strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills and familiarity with Joint Commission standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor7s degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
• One (1) to Three (3) years clinical experience or Risk Management experience required. Acute care experience preferred.
• Certified Professional in healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and Centers of Medicare Conditions of Participation, Nevada acute care regulations, and the Nevada Department of Public Health functions.

Responsibilities

• The Manager of Risk Management is a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Risk Management in leading our hospitals Patient Safety-Risk Management Program.
