Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a quality improvement professional to lead clinical improvement initiatives in partnership with system, region, and ministry teams.

You will leverage various data sources to provide insights, work with executives and clinicians to reduce risks, meet regulatory requirements, and drive a culture of patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
• Three years’ experience in quality or improvement roles.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting in healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality improvement initiatives using clinical data to standardize care and improve outcomes.
• Implements and refines quality initiatives aligned with KPIs and external benchmarks.
• Develops and aligns quality strategies across programs to support system and regional priorities.
• Prepares and presents updates on external quality ratings and ranking programs.
• Builds collaborations with providers and leaders; educates teams on best practices.
• Supports Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and external reporting as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
