Job summary

Beacon Mental Health in Kansas City, MO seeks an experienced Quality Improvement leader to maintain the agency-wide QI system, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize risk. You will oversee the daily operations of the QI department, including outcomes, credentialing, accreditation, utilization management and auditing.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience, with preferred licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Clinically licensed or provisionally licensed preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily functions of the QI department including outcomes, credentialing, accreditation, utilization management and auditing.
• Supervises Outcomes Specialist, Compliance Specialist, QI Coordinator, Utilization Management Coordinator and Auditing positions.
• Oversees the documentation/billing corrections ticket system and department budgeting.
• Coordinates internal and contract provider audits and regulatory inspections.
• Maintains knowledge of agency policies, service codes and regulatory directives and serves as primary contact for documentation requirements.
