Quality & HSE Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality & HSE Manager to lead our quality assurance and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. This role involves evaluating current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic changes to enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with leadership and production teams to ensure all products meet client specifications, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality assurance and HSE management, with at least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality and HSE policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Assess and refine existing quality control and HSE procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and improve workplace safety.
  3. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Collaborate with management and production teams to optimize quality and safety processes.
  5. Train employees on best practices in manufacturing, quality assurance, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.
  6. Oversee production processes to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  7. Perform thorough inspections of raw materials and finished products to maintain compliance with quality benchmarks.
  8. Monitor and investigate production, safety, and environmental incidents, implementing preventative measures to mitigate future risks.
  9. Track, analyze, and report on quality and HSE metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OSHA, EPA, and other relevant quality and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  2. Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or relevant HSE certification (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and HSE management within a manufacturing environment.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and environmental compliance regulations.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  6. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
