Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a BB Governance and Quality Control Associate within Risk Management and Compliance to strengthen the firm’s risk controls and governance posture.

The role focuses on evaluating process effectiveness, QA reviews, identifying control gaps, and surfacing trends to drive sustainable improvements across multiple risk domains. The candidate will partner with Credit Risk, Wholesale Credit, Retail Credit, Product and Change Management, contributing to QA methodologies

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Governance or related function.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or business.
• Knowledge of risk management, governance, process and control assessment and remediation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process effectiveness and conduct QA reviews to assess adherence to policies and risk standards.
• Identify control gaps and surface trends and root causes for improvement.
• Support governance forums, management reporting and oversight activities.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Wholesale/M Retail Credit, Product, Change Management and others to implement solutions.
• Contribute to QA methodologies, scorecards, sampling, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics communicating quality outcomes and risk themes.
• Document observations and recommendations with supporting evidence per standards.
• Monitor remediation efforts to ensure effective corrective actions.
• Utilize data analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual activities with workflow optimization.
