Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Wealth Management Credit Risk Professional within the Internal Controls and Quality team.

You will review credit proposals, assess risk, and provide insights to senior leadership to strengthen risk management practices across wealth management and private banking portfolios. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze client documentation, and contribute to ongoing quality reviews and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Relevant Experience.
• 6 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, or a related risk management function.
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit risk principles, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent quality reviews of credit proposals, ensuring adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, categorize, and escalation exceptions and errors, ensuring timely remediation and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Analyze client documentation and credit data to validate accuracy of grading, collateral, and risk assessments.
• Participate in targeted reviews and special projects as directed by senior risk leadership.
• Collaborate with team members to identify emerging trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain subject matter expertise.
• Foster a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement within the team.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and regulatory or policy projects as needed.
