Post Consumer Brands in Northfield, MN, is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Intern for a 13-week summer experience designed to provide meaningful work and hands-on exposure to the consumer packaged goods industry.

You will gain exposure to quality assurance, food safety programs, manufacturing operations, and continuous improvement initiatives while building practical skills that prepare you for a future career in the food industry.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a manufacturing environment.
• Interest in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and quality profession after graduation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quality and food safety programs to ensure products meet expectations.
• Analyze quality data and identify opportunities to improve product performance and processes.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
• Support root cause investigations and problem-solving related to product quality.
• Gain exposure to food safety systems, regulatory requirements, sanitation programs, and manufacturing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Product Development.
