Job summary

Bunge Internship - Quality & Food Safety: This 12-week summer program offers hands-on experience in HACCP, lab methods, and QA operations within our Illinois facilities. You will contribute to root cause analysis, data-driven improvements, and training for operations staff while positioning yourself for a career in food quality and safety.

Eligible students are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in a relevant field, with strong data skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Science or related field.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze data and present clear reports.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day Quality & Food Safety activities following the 70/20/10 governance.
• Work on projects including microbial sampling validation and validation studies.
• Develop and review laboratory and sampling SOPs.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Assist in audits and updates to Food Safety Plans.
