RTX Asheville site seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer Technician (MQE) for night shift (4 pm–2:30 am, Mon–Thu) to support FAI development and continuous improvement on assigned hardware. You will work with cell teams to ensure manufacturing compliance, develop standard work, and lead quality initiatives on the shop floor.

The role requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, plus strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Work with Cell Leaders, Cell Members, Quality and Engineering staff to assure manufacturing compliance with equipment, gages and fixtures.
Assist in development and construction of manufacturing cells.
Review tooling requirements and aid in tool designs.
Order specially designed cutting tools and other operating supplies.
Create and maintain standard work.
Improve current manufacturing processes to reduce costs and increase reliability.
Gather data for non-conformances and drive root cause and corrective actions.
Lead FAI development and new process tryouts on the shop floor.
Be the first point of contact on assigned parts and processes.
Organize and lead Continuous Improvement activities on assigned hardware.
Drive actions to closure and track quality/cost improvements.
