Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Team Lead for the Night Shift to oversee QA on the floor, ensuring builds meet customer specs and AS9102 standards. You will coach inspectors, maintain documentation, and drive process improvements to protect profitability and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of a Quality Management System; detail-focused and calm under pressure
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook (Dynamics a plus) and accurate data entry
• IPC-A-610 CIS within 6 months if applicable; flexible hours/overtime and solid attendance

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specs, drawings, and updates; keep requirements current
• Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) completion to AS9102, including forms and records
• Escalate quality concerns to Quality Manager(s) and track First Pass Yield trends
• Lead root-cause and Corrective/Preventive Action activities; support audits/verifications
• Maintain the QA training matrix; coordinate with Production, Engineering, Program, and customers
• Reinforce policy compliance, PPE use, and safety practices; support Lean initiatives

As Quality Team Lead – Night Shift, you’ll steer Quality Assurance on the floor so every build meets customer expectations and aerospace standards. This role exists to coach inspectors, keep documentation tight, and drive smart process improvements that protect profitability and delivery.

As production ramps, you’re the go-to voice for quick decisions, clear communication, and keeping documentation flowing. You’ll spend time at a workstation and on the floor, checking dashboards and reports, then pivoting to focused problem-solving when trends pop up. By late shift, you’re wrapping up notes for handoff, aligning on next steps, and setting the team up for a clean start tomorrow—then clocking out at 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.
