L3Harris Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a Manager, Quality Engineering to lead the quality program across the Missile Solutions Segment. You will drive total quality management initiatives and Six Sigma projects while leading a team of Quality Engineers to ensure zero-defect, on-time delivery that meets contract requirements.

The role requires deep QMS and continuous improvement experience, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related quality experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years prior related quality experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related quality experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in the field of manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality principles.
• 2+ years of experience with continuous improvement concepts and the ability to deploy and lead to the benefit of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineering Team to achieve Camden site goals with high level focus on successful zero-defect, on-time delivery of products meeting contractual quality and performance requirements.
• Leads projects, provides training, logistical and infrastructural assistance for quality initiatives.
• Ensures internal, customer, regulatory and 3rd party requirements are defined, measured, and continuously improved.
• Leads root cause and corrective action to address product and process non-conformances and compliance gaps.
• Drives early cross-functional engagement initiatives to ensure quality is built into the design and processes.
• Responsible for developing and implementing inspection planning, testing and evaluation methods to verify product repeatability and reproducibility.
• Develops budget, monitors expenditures and leads a quality team of Quality Engineers.
• May oversee program/project execution through review of proposals and completion of gate reviews.
• Interface with customer and on-site representatives.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
