Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks a seasoned leader for the Material Control Laboratory in the United States. You will drive safety, efficiency and alignment with business goals, overseeing multiple teams, directing CAPEX and digital modernization efforts.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing, lab, or quality environments with supervisory responsibilities; Lean and CI experience is required. Onsite work in Georgia with strong QA and customer-facing responsibilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple teams or technical functions with talent development and planning.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies (Kaizen, VSM, 6S, TPM, mistake-proofing).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering data and provide technical direction across engineering, operations and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Material Control Laboratory, including Materials Testing, Chemical, Thermal Calibrations, and TCG, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Manage multiple teams and front-line leaders, including staffing, capability development and performance management.
• Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for lab capability, capital investments, process modernization and digital transformation.
• Serve as senior technical authority for complex quality and manufacturing issues, supporting engineering, operations and supply chain.
• Oversee engineering change review and approval processes to ensure QA requirements and standards.
