Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Quality Engineering to join the L3Harris Missile Solutions Segment in Camden, AR. The selected leader will develop, implement, and drive total quality management programs and Six Sigma initiatives to meet contract requirements and sustain continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, creation of inspection plans, testing methods, and budget oversight, with eligibility to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing quality.
• 2+ years experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality principles.
• 2+ years experience with continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineering team to achieve site goals with focus on zero-defect, on-time delivery.
• Lead projects and provide training and support for quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal, customer, regulatory and 3rd party requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Drive cross-functional engagement to build quality into design and processes.
• Develop inspection planning, testing and evaluation methods to verify repeatability and reproducibility.
