Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Quality Engineering in Camden, AR to lead the Missile Solution Segment quality team. You will drive total quality management programs and Six Sigma initiatives, ensuring zero-defect, on-time delivery against contractual requirements.

The role requires deep experience in aerospace quality, QMS, and continuous improvement, with responsibility for budget, staffing, and cross-functional engagement. A US security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related aerospace/defense quality experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in the field of manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience withquality management systems (QMS) and quality principles.
• 2+ years of experience with continuous improvement concepts and the ability to deploy and lead to the benefit of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineering Team to achieve Camden site goals with high focus on zero-defect, on-time delivery.
• Leads projects, provides training, logistical and infrastructural assistance for quality initiatives.
• Ensures internal, customer, regulatory and 3rd party requirements are defined, measured, and continuously improved.
• Leads root cause and corrective action to address product and process non-conformances.
• Drives early cross-functional engagement to ensure quality is built into design and processes.
• Develops inspection planning, testing and evaluation methods to verify repeatability and reproducibility.
• Develops budget, monitors expenditures and leads a quality team of Quality Engineers.
• May oversee program/project execution through gate reviews.
• Interface with customer and on-site representatives.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Quality Engineering to join the Missile Solution Segment atour growing site in Camden, AR. The selected individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, leadership, and measurement of total quality management programs and Six Sigma initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Lead Quality Engineering Team to achieve Camden site goals withhigh level focus on successful zero-defect, on-time delivery of products meeting contractual quality and performance requirements.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 auditing.
• CQE or CQM/OE certification.
