Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Wisconsin to monitor and improve component and product quality. You will ensure specifications are met and sustain robust quality controls across production and processes.

You will participate in project teams, lead improvements, and drive corrective actions while leveraging metrology tools and measurement systems analyses. Travel is limited, with focus on manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or 3 years of experience in a Quality/Manufacturing environment or production function.
• Exposure to production systems and material flow.
• Sound understanding of engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis.
• Knowledge and prior experience with company equipment, production processes, and engineering desired.
• 0>2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive improvements to the quality of components or products.
• Ensure components and products comply with specifications.
• Implement and sustain quality controls.
• Drive continuous improvements to products and processes.
• Participate on project teams and lead projects as needed.
• Monitor and provide quality-related information from internal and external sources.
• Complete formal audits and assessments on products and processes.
• Monitor components and products for conformance using appropriate metrology equipment.
• Red-tag and remove non-conforming materials from production.
• Drive corrective actions and secure deviations for temporarily allowed non-conforming materials.
• Follow up on field-to-factory communications and lead containment activities.
• Monitor and address emerging issues.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently.
• Review and update standard work, processes, tools, measurements, checks, and training.
• Ensure calibrated equipment is available and calibrations are maintained.
• Conduct measurement systems analyses.
• Procure measurement equipment.
• Implement process monitoring and control capabilities to improve process visibility, compliance traceability, and accountability
