Job summary

Textron in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a proactive Quality Intern to support development, process improvement, and manufacturing PM for both legacy and new aircraft. You will analyze processes to determine capability, failure modes, and corrective actions, while assisting with design requirements for new QA processes and validation.

The role emphasizes coordinating team efforts, tracking project performance, and receiving guidance from quality engineering management throughout the 10-week internship.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by internship start (June 1, 2027).
• Able to complete the full 10 weeks (June 1–Aug 6, 2027).
• GPA 3.0+ strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support quality development, process improvement, and manufacturing project management for legacy and new aircraft.
• Analyze processes to determine manufacturing capability and failure modes; identify corrective actions.
• Participate in design requirements analysis to develop new quality control processes and validate actions.
• Coordinate team efforts and measure project performance; receive direction from quality engineering management.
