Textron Aviation Inc. in Kansas is offering a 10-week, full-time internship focused on quality improvements in products and processes. You will support multiple areas including Fabrication, Assembly Aircraft Completions and Delivery, and cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain and Engineering.

The role emphasizes audits, data analysis and driving action on corrective measures while developing professional skills and industry knowledge in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for Textron Aviation; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong communication, accountability and time-management skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise Quality systems and procedures to ensure documentation is compliant with current practices.
• Conduct Government and FAA audits and investigations and report corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Gather and analyze performance data (scrap, rejections, defects, rework) to aid process improvements.
• Conduct process or product audits in production, functional areas or with suppliers.
