Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is offering a 12-week Summer Internship Program in Lawrence, KS, with on-site opportunities across the United States.

Interns will work on meaningful quality engineering projects, gaining hands-on experience and professional relationships while developing problem-solving and technical skills. The program targets students or recent graduates with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and relocation/housing stipends may be available depending on team and location.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in college/university pursuing a technical or engineering degree during internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8-12 weeks.
• Relocation/housing stipend may be available depending on team/location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues
• Use Calipers and Micrometers for dimensional analysis
• Participate in problem solving sessions
• Receive detailed instructions on all work under close supervision
• Work with software tools in your area of expertise
• Participate in all aspects of Quality inspections, investigations, and process audit program
• Other duties as assigned
