Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Littleton, CO, seeks a qualified Quality Engineer to apply quality principles across design, materials, and production control for make/buy products. You will perform technical evaluations, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, and lead corrective actions for non-conformances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3-8 years of quality-engineering experience in space, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability industry
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100, MIL-STD-1916, or similar standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and configuration-management data

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3-8 years of quality-engineering experience in space, aerospace, defense, or a high-reliability industry
  • hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100, MIL-STD-1916, or similar standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD-L, and configuration-management data
Desired Skills
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent QE Certifications
  • Kowledge of APQP, PPQP, DFMEA, and FMEA processes
  • Knowledge or experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
  • Hands-on experience with nonconformance process documentation systems, ie. VECAMs, Automation Framework, Manufacturing Drawings, etc.
  • Experience creating or maintaining quality command media or documented procedures
  • Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification
  • Experience conducting / supporting internal or external audits and process surveillances
  • Strong analytical / problem solving mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (ability to produce clear reports and present findings)
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who can work both independently and within cross-functional teams
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
