Job summary

Clarios is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead testing, SPC development, audits, and corrective actions across manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 6+ years in QA/Quality Engineering in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO standards, SPC, and problem-solving skills. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or other quality systems.
• Strong SPC, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and specs.
• MS Office proficiency and strong communication/leadership skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct analysis, inspections, testing, validation, and integration activities to ensure product and process quality.
• Develop and implement SPC tools including control charts, sampling techniques, Pareto analysis, and other methodologies.
• Conduct internal plant audits for QMS (IATF 16949/ISO standards), product quality, and record retention practices.
• Issue and follow up on corrective actions for root cause resolution and prevention.
• Coordinate engineering change activities and support new product introductions.
• Lead special projects assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Interface with customers, conduct on-site investigations, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Prepare and present technical reports and quality metrics to leadership.
