Rehlko in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer for Small Assembly to own product and process quality on two assembly lines. The role focuses on improving first-pass yield, reducing scrap, and solving issues at root cause on the shop floor.

You will lead MRB, RCCA, and partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Suppliers to drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma. Onsite work Monday through Friday with a strong emphasis on hands-on problem solving.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related) from ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality within an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of core quality tools: SPC, MSA, PFMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Sheboygan, WI and support production on the floor.

Responsabilidades

• Line Quality Ownership: serve as the dedicated quality engineer for two small industrial assembly lines.
• Monitor FPY, scrap, and downtime; identify top defect drivers with Pareto and trend analysis.
• Maintain PFMEAs, control plans, CTQ characteristics, and work instruction quality requirements.
• Identify, document, and route nonconforming product and material to MRB in a timely manner; participate in MRB.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action (RCCA/8D) for internal and supplier-related quality issues.
• Drive process improvements that increase FPY and reduce scrap, rework, and downtime; apply Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and MSA; support Kaizen events.
