Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a quality-focused engineer to support manufacturing quality and process improvement efforts. You will contribute to quality evolution, drive control capability, and challenge existing processes for risk mitigation.

You will lead containment actions, root cause analyses, and audits, while maintaining documentation and training to raise Customer Satisfaction and reduce defects across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing quality/engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 8D problem solving and corrective action.
• Familiar with FMEA, control plans and process audits.
• Good command of English for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution and contribute to process/control capability implementation.
• Lead containment actions and root cause analysis of quality issues in the sector.
• Lead process audits and process FMEAs to prevent defects.
• Create and maintain quality control documentation and ensure training.
• Drive continuous improvement and supplier/customer quality interactions.
