Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a manufacturing engineer/industrial engineer to support production operations, improve safety and quality, and drive cost reductions. You will develop documentation, lead continuous improvement projects, and analyze processes to maximize efficiency in a demanding Texas environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing, industrial engineering, production support, or engineering technician environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering activities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance within production operations.
• Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing documentation including work instructions, SOPs, process flows, and production layouts.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze production processes and equipment performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for quality and production concerns.
• Assist with capacity planning, line balancing, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.
