Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Quality Engineer in Morristown, TN to improve process capability, ensure cGMP compliance, and manage quality documentation. Responsibilities include CAPA, SPC, supplier audits, and cross-functional support across packaging and raw materials.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in manufacturing, with experience in regulated environments and SAP systems. Travel up to 10% is possible; on-site work in Morristown, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 4 years in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Minimum 2 years CAPA experience.
• Experience with SPC, Minitab or other statistical tools.
• Experience in a regulated industry (FDA).
• Knowledge of GMP or ISO 9000.
• Experience in Technology Transfer.
• Experience using SAP or other plant related computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish robust quality systems to ensure control, capability, and compliance.
• Proactively manage historical quality data and specifications in enterprise software.
• Oversee supplier quality management and audits, including supplier meetings and quality improvement programs.
• Conduct quality failure investigations, perform RCA, manage CAPAs, and support audits.
• Develop validation protocols and support technology transfers across the organization.
• Provide guidance on packaging quality issues and maintain SOPs and KPIs.
• Support consumer complaint investigations and CAPA processes.
