Job summary

Magna International Limited in Carrollton, GA, is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to lead PPAP activities, drive root cause analysis, and ensure supplier quality systems meet ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating APQP meetings, updating customers on PPAP status, and developing control plans and work instructions for PFMEAs. Travel within and outside the U.S. is required. Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree with experience may be substituted.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel within and outside the U.S. required.
• Knowledge of PPAP / Submission process systems or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of internal auditing.
• Exposure to OEM specifications, standards and quality systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel is required.
• Knowledge of AIAG core tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and Decostar policies and maintain a safe workplace.
• Coordinate PPAP activities and ensure on-time submission to customers.
• Update customers on PPAP status and timing regularly.
• Provide root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional APQP meetings and review open issues.
• Assist in developing Control Plans and Work Instructions for PFMEAs and process flows.
• Conduct supplier quality system surveys per ISO/IATF 16949.
