Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support PPAP submission processes, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with Program Managers, Engineers, and suppliers to ensure OEM quality standards are met and sustained.

The role requires strong knowledge of AIAG tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP) and the ability to travel as needed within the US. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Knowledge of PPAP submissions and related process systems.
• Experience with internal audits and quality systems.
• Familiarity with OEM specifications and quality requirements.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of AIAG core tools: FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe, healthful workplace.
• Coordinate PPAP activities with Program Managers and Manufacturing staff.
• Lead root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for quality issues.
• Support supplier quality activities and ISO/IATF 16949 procedures.
• Communicate with customers and ensure timely responses within agreed timeframes.
