Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen quality systems, improve manufacturing processes, and support new product introductions. You will partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to drive quality improvements.

The role emphasizes PFMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, SPC, PPAP/FAI, and ISO 9001 knowledge, with hands-on problem solving and data-driven decisions. Occasional travel is expected in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or a comparable technical environment.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or a similar quality-focused position.

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty and RMA processes from investigation through resolution.
• Analyze returned products to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Pair with internal teams to reduce recurring quality issues and improve customer experience.
• Translate customer quality requirements into actionable internal processes and documentation.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist with QMS training materials and employee education.
• Represent Quality during ERP implementation and system upgrades; align ERP with quality processes.
• Lead quality activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), PFMEA, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Develop methods to monitor process capability and product quality; implement FPY, SPC, audits.
• Lead Material Review Board activities and coordinate supplier corrective actions (SCARs).
• Conduct internal product, process, and quality-system audits; participate in supplier audits.
