Job summary

THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with an established manufacturing organization to hire a Quality Engineer who will support quality systems, investigate production and customer issues, and drive improvements across operations. The role emphasizes production-floor work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3–7 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, with ISO 9001 knowledge and CAPA experience.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per ISO 9001.
• Lead root cause investigations using methods like 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, CAPA.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and track corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Establish inspection procedures and quality control plans for incoming materials and processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve product quality.
