Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure materials, products, and processes meet quality standards on the production floor. You will monitor FPY and key KPIs, lead 8D/CAPA investigations, and drive corrective actions to improve yield and reduce defects.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and support customer quality issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in quality engineering or product engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Experience with PFMEA, 8D, CAPA and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FPY and other quality KPIs daily.
• Oversee QC stages across the production line.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with design and product engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Respond to customer quality issues and support timely resolution.
