Job summary

BTD Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations in Washington, IL. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into quality plans, managing PPAPs, ECNs, ROC's, and coordinating RA containment.

The candidate will update nonconformance data, participate in MRB and RA reviews, and collaborate with QA and sales to ensure customer quality expectations are met. Required experience includes at least two years in operations, manufacturing engineering,

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing/quality processes in a metal manufacturing environment.
Two years of recent experience in operations, manufacturing engineering, or quality within BTD or similar settings.

Responsibilities

Create and update quality tools to convey customer expectations to the organization.
Process ECN’s and ROC’s for customers and notify areas that need to act.
Manage PPAP documents and customer portals as needed.
Generate RA’s and initiate containment as needed.
Participate in MRB and RA reviews to disposition nonconformances and RA’s.
Maintain 8D RA Table to reflect accuracy of rejection data.
Assign CA’s to improve part quality and coordinate with QA manager.
