Zusammenfassung

Fort Wayne Metals is seeking a Quality Engineer for New Product Development to ensure adherence to customer requirements and Fort Wayne Metals quality system.

The role requires collaborating with Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams, updating procedures, and driving process improvements while maintaining strong customer relationships. Onsite work with travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of quality experience.

Aufgaben

• Manage QC/QA aspects of production and testing per customer and Fort Wayne Metals requirements.
• Update procedures, work instructions, forms, and customer specifications.
• Design and refine methods for process control, testing, inspection; collaborate with Quality Manager on changes.
• Serve as a resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Educate staff on quality policy and deliver training.
