Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Engineering Specialist to join Arsenal‑1 near Columbus, Ohio. The role embeds in manufacturing to improve nonconforming material handling, containment, and root‑cause analysis.

You will work with product quality engineers to create inspection plans, drive data capture, and train inspectors. A strong background in QA, GD&T, and AS9100/ISO quality systems is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience in lieu of education.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or quality/engineering roles.
• Experience in HW development and quality management in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files.
• Experience with calibrated measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm).
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001/IATF16949 or similar QMS.
• Experience with supplier communication and cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site MRB process and containment of nonconforming materials.
• Review work instructions and provide feedback to inspectors.
• Support in root cause analysis and cross‑functional investigations.
• Lead containment execution and verify nonconforming parts.
• Coordinate vendor RMAs and ensure materials exit MRB area.
• Create inspection plans for incoming, in‑process, and end‑of‑line inspection.
• Train technicians to execute inspection plans and capture data.
• Propose and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Execute internal audits and drive continuous improvement.
