Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide support to QA and other teams, driving improvements in process and product quality. The role supports the Saft World Class initiative and requires strong QC methods and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include supplier validation, ISO-9001/AS9100 quality practices, and RCCA-based problem solving. Must be a US citizen or green card holder, with a manufacturing background and ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Quality engineering support across engineering, operations, and program management.
• Identify and implement improvements in productivity and quality.
• Support customer/supplier communications and ensure conformance to requirements.
• Participate in change order reviews.
• Train inspectors and operators in daily operations.
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience with supplier management/validation is required.
• Quality engineering in ISO-9001/AS9100 environment preferred.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
• Experience with RCCA tools like 8D, 5-Why, PFMEA.
• Audit knowledge AS9100-D, ISO 9001:2015, Nadcap, etc.
• Review customer documentation and ensure quality clauses are met.
