Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to ensure products and materials meet quality standards. You will prepare incoming inspections, support non-conformances, and drive MRB activities while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, corrective actions, new product introductions, and ISO 9001 activities. A strong background in Lean Six Sigma and SPC is preferred, with emphasis on safety and process

Qualifications

Bachelor or associate degree with QA experience.
Familiar with ISO 9001, AS9100 and manufacturing processes.
Ability to perform root-cause analysis and use measurement tools.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing and SPC practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare incoming inspection activities in project phases for timely material inspection.
Manage MRB with production, QE and incoming inspection teams.
Assess suppliers for selection and development within the site.
Handle supplier claims and related chargebacks.
Provide manufacturing support for ESS during projects and low-volume periods.
Participate in new project/product introduction for ESS.
Contribute to ISO 9001 certification and act as internal auditor.
Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and initiatives.
