Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to design and implement tests ensuring product quality and functionality. You will participate in all testing phases, write test procedures, analyze features, and develop robust QA processes to guarantee peak product performance.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, strong knowledge of testing tools (Selenium, JMeter, LabVIEW), and proficiency in VBA and Python. US citizenship or green card is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• 7–10 years experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer.
• Experience with testing tools including Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, or LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of diagramming software including Gliffy, Microsoft Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with VBA and Python.
• Strong written communication and critical thinking.
• Ability to project manage.
• US citizenship or green card required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the product design team to determine testing parameters.
• Write test plans and create test cases for the product.
• Conduct QA and design performance tests using testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline the testing procedures.
• Write final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
• Train the QA staff and provide technical support when needed.
• Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Prepare test reports for managers.
