Job summary

Saft is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and implement process strategies, optimize current processes, and maintain process documents. You will monitor production performance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic AutoCAD skills.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process strategies to optimize production.
• Manage process resources and monitor yields, cycle times and downtime.
• Troubleshoot daily production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing projects to boost productivity.
• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, WI, and process flow diagrams.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all processes.
