Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Quality Engineering professional to own and continually improve the Quality Management System at a U.S.-based facility. The role emphasizes ISO 9001 readiness, CAPA management, and cross-functional leadership across Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.

With 3-7+ years in Quality, you will plan and conduct audits, drive Lean and Poka-Yoke initiatives, and develop inspection and process documentation aligned with the company's standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Strong experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience planning and conducting internal quality audits.
• Demonstrated success managing CAPA processes.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience creating inspection plans, control plans, and process documentation.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead ISO 9001 compliance readiness activities.
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal quality audits.
• Support customer and external audits.
• Manage CAPA process and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Perform root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Create and maintain inspection plans, procedures, and quality documentation.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement Poka-Yoke solutions.
• Analyze quality data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in new product and process introductions from a quality perspective.
• Train employees on quality system requirements and best practices.
