Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Greenwood, SC facility. The role supports the Eaton Lean Six Sigma program and Eaton Quality System to improve productivity, cost, and quality. You will provide engineering support, guide projects, and travel to customer locations about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance support to customers.
• Develop and monitor manufacturing quality procedures, standards, training activities, and communication programs.
• Perform audits of the plants’ operations to evaluate opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and coordinate problems and activities to assess and improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Utilize lean and quality tools to drive cost reduction and improve working capital performance.
• Support other key plant processes and provide cross-functional support as directed.
