Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for its Greenwood, SC facility. You will lead engineering quality initiatives across the MVA ETO lines, drive CAPA actions, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to reduce defects and prevent recurrence.

Relocation assistance is offered. The role centers on establishing an ETO quality culture, using PDCA and quality tools to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of ETO/quality engineering or related experience.
• Experience with root-cause analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone, A3).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering quality reviews and error prevention across ETO product lines.
• Drive CAPA investigations and ensure corrective actions are sustained.
• Monitor and report KPIs and defect trends, escalating risks as needed.
• Manage lessons learned and embed improvements into standards and tools.
• Facilitate quality review meetings daily, weekly, monthly, and at executive level.
• Partner with multiple functions to implement systemic process improvements.
• Promote a zero-defect culture through training and best practices.
