Analog Technologies Corp. is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the Quality Management System under the guidance of the Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or ASQ Certified.
• Quality Engineer experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing and processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, customer specifications and CAD files.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and implementation.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain schedules.

• 1-3 years related experience in related manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with electronics industry acceptability standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600).
• MS software (Word, Excel) proficiency.
• ERP systems experience, preferably Epicor; MES systems/AEGIS FLX knowledge; Statistical tools (SPC, RCA, FMEA, PFMEA, DMAIC, PPAP, Gage R&R).
• Visual acuity test and color vision per policy.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of electronics assembly processes and Lean concepts to develop, review, and update process documentation.
• Manage corrective action plans and lead root-cause analyses.
• Investigate quality issues and drive cross-functional actions.
• Prepare reports from MES, ERP and other data sources for internal/external customers.
• Ensure compliance to internal/external standards and conduct internal QMS audits.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Account Management, Quality, Materials and Production to ensure product quality.
• Support QMS and apply Lean concepts across functions.
