Job summary

Analog Technologies Corp. in Burnsville, MN seeks a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the QMS under the Quality Manager. You will drive continuous improvement, analyze data from MES/ERP, and prepare reports for internal and external customers while ensuring compliance with IPC standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or ASQ certification, strong communication skills, and Lean manufacturing experience. Candidates will work on-site in Burnsville with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or ASQ Certified.
• Quality Engineer.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing and processes.
• Ability to interpret instructions and documents furnished in diagrams, CAD files, drawings, customer specifications and/or other forms.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and implementation.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a schedule.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Epicor.
• Experience with MES systems (AEGIS FLX) or similar software.
• Knowledge of SPC, RCA, FMEA, PFMEA, DMAIC, PPAP, Gage R&R, and other statistical tools.
• Completion of Visual Acuity Test and Color Blindness per policy.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of electronic assembly processes to develop/update process documentation.
• Manage corrective action plans and lead root-cause investigations.
• Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Account Management, Quality, Materials, and Production to ensure quality of product and services.
• Support QMS awareness and Lean integration.
