Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering seeks a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Manager. You will review existing quality processes, lead root-cause analysis, and develop corrective actions to ensure customer requirements are met.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or ASQ CQE with 1–3 years in manufacturing; Six Sigma/Lean and ISO9001:2015 auditing knowledge are preferred. A collaborative, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or ASQ CQE certification is required.
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean is desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 auditing and quality systems beneficial.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis in manufacturing environments.
• SQL or VBA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review effectiveness of existing quality processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Create, review, and update controlled process documentation.
• Define, implement, and evaluate process validation tools.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
• Compile and analyze data to drive organizational change.
• Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
• Maintain monitoring and measuring equipment (MME) system.
• Review capability to comply with customer requirements.
