Job summary

Aluma-Form Inc. is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on driving quality improvements, implementing robust quality systems, and using data-driven methods to enhance product and process performance.

You will monitor processes, perform root-cause analysis, and lead quality initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance to standards and audits. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Strong knowledge of quality tools: CAPA, FMEA, RCA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and maintain control plans, inspection instructions, and quality procedures.
Document and track supplier issues through supplier corrective actions.
Support internal and external audits and customer quality assessments.
Lead quality initiatives including process capability studies and problem solving.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
Drive Continuous Improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Train and support production staff on quality procedures.
