Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent required; entry-level manufacturing engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Introductory Lean concepts (5S, waste reduction).
• CAD exposure (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) is preferred.
• Excel and basic data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining standard work instructions.
• Support process troubleshooting on the production floor.
• Collect and analyze basic production data (scrap, cycle time, downtime).
• Participate in Lean / Six Sigma projects (often as a team member).
• Help implement process improvements and cost reduction ideas.
• Support tooling, fixtures, and equipment setup.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work with operators and technicians to resolve day‑to‑day issues.
