Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Engineer in Beech Grove, IN to oversee quality control, raw material verification, and process QA for asphalt modified bitumen products. Lead the lab team and drive continuous improvement through SPC and CAPA.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in quality, and experience with ASTM methods; Six Sigma Black Belt or CQE is preferred. On-site position with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Quality.
• 3+ years in Asphalt, rubber/polymers, or continuous web manufacturing, with leadership.
• Certificates: Six Sigma Black Belt or CQE (ASQ) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise lab staff and manage lab staffing and priorities.
• Oversee testing of raw materials and finished Mod Bit products.
• Monitor SPC to reduce yield variation and scrap.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, UL ratings and building codes.
• Lead 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone RCA investigations and CAPA actions.
• Oversee lab maintenance, calibration, and gauge R&R studies.
• Collaborate with operations, process engineering, and R&D for NPD.
