Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Plant Controls Engineer to partner with the Plant Engineer on capital, expense, and maintenance projects. You will develop and justify business cases, evaluate control systems, and support scalable manufacturing of asphalt products.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on integrating modern controls, predictive maintenance, and process improvements in a continuous manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of controls and their impact on the equipment.
• Experience working with design software.
• Thorough and demonstrated understanding of process control systems.
• Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, cost estimates, and justifies capital and expense projects.
• Evaluate and monitor processes for asphalt product manufacture and support trials.
• Calibrate equipment and monitor maintenance.
• Support converting older processes to large-scale operations.
• Improve efficiency, output and safety through data collection and analysis.
