Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Sedalia, MO is seeking a Quality Engineer to help ensure product quality and reliability across manufacturing, engineering, and supplier networks. You will lead root cause analysis, drive corrective and preventive actions, and support the plant’s continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant progressive quality experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of relevant quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years experience with MS Office Suite, to include intermediate Excel skills
• 1+ year of experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document process improvements to ensure quality and reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions across plant operations.
• Support ISO certification and participate in plant audits.
• Investigate production quality issues and coordinate supplier corrective actions.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and customer service.
