Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department and ensure ISO-9001 compliance across the facility, including audits and CAPA. You will collaborate with Procurement to guarantee supplier materials meet specifications in a machining environment.

You will build a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to address quality issues and improve first-pass yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years quality assurance experience in machining/assembly.
• 5+ years progressive leadership in QA programs & audits.
• 1+ years in Manufacturing/Quality Engineering in machining with Lean Six Sigma.
• 1+ years in regulatory accreditation processes (UL, CE, ATEX, IECEx, etc.).
• 1+ years of ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Team and oversee plant warranty administration.
• Drive ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 compliance, coordinate audits and CAPA.
• Improve First Pass Yield, supplier scorecards, warranty trends.
• Develop quality control processes aligned with customer needs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Customer Service.
• Lead Kaizen/Lean activities to reduce waste and costs.
